The difference between war and terror
War is a declared state of fighting with regular armies. When the differentiating of soldiers and civilians is given up, it is terror. In this definition, many operation in WW2 were terror, including most of what Nazi Germany did and also the bombing of entire German cities at the end of the war. In today`s fight of the Israeli army and the armed forces of the Hamas, Israel is trying to keep it a war. But Hamas is making it difficult, as they don`t go by the definition. They are not only targeting Israeli civilians, but also carry out their remote use of force against Israeli civilians locally on grounds shared with civilians.
